Disrobed was a welcomed distraction from the world we currently live in. I found it witty and lighthearted fun. Socially, the questions asked are valid, and create a context for asking “who makes the rules?” ...

Thanks to expert online direction by Andrea Jacobs, cast members seemed to be interacting with each other as if in the same room while sharing glasses of wine or a cup of coffee, having sex, or when exchanging props which I will not give away in this review since it would reveal a major plot point that is better left as a surprise....

I thought the show was very good. The acting was phenomenal and it really felt like you were watching a group of friends catching up over Zoom. The dialogue felt natural and the conversation was really insightful. As a white guy dating a black woman, there were things discussed that we’ve been through as a couple and some other things I either wasn’t completely aware of or that I didn’t understand the full extent of. ...

An excellent, engaging play that weaves in the real interviews of Black women in long-term relationships with white men into a Zoom hang out with friends. The play allows for the audience to feel like a voyeur into a close knit group, and the format of Vimeo is a great tool to ensure video quality and encourage you to grab a glass of wine as you join. Great writing, acting, directing/editing, this is one that I'm looking forward to seeing how this is adapted back to stage. ...

BLACK WOMEN DATING WHITE MEN, is a timely, entertaining verbatim piece which draws upon numerous important issues in a short period of time - and does so with subtlety and grace. Translating perfectly onto zoom (and online performance), it presents itself as a cluster of conversations between Black women who happen to be dating white men.
Black Women Dating White Men is expertly crafted by Somebody Jones, bringing moments of great comedy but also sincerity. Due to the nature of the conversat...

It was interesting, a nude variety show, both the audience and performers being nude. It wasn't the first time I have experiences such a thing but these were short quick sketches with a variety of performers. One sketch hearkened back to the show the previous year....

It was a great experience. A nude variety show, both performers and audience were nude. So everyone was on the same level. All the acts were enjoyable, with a stand-up comedy opening, the main play, music and a discussion session afterward....

"Disrobed" was one of the more unusual immersive theatrical experiences I've had. The play is a funny romp about a woman who brings home her fiance' to meet her family.....and he doesn't know that they are all nudists. In order to ingratiate himself to his future in-laws, he has to pretend he is a nudist too, and literally must grin and bear it. Making a typically uncomfortable situation even more excruciating...and hilarious! The script was sharp, the pacing was snappy and the talented ca...
